Punehire is an index of job listings published by other companies. These terms describe what that means for you and the limits of what this site promises.

By using this site you accept what is written here. If you do not, the site costs you nothing to leave.

What this site is

Punehire reads the public job feeds that startups in Pune publish through their applicant tracking systems, and arranges them into one index with company, area and role pages. The listings are the employers' own. What we add is the collection, the normalisation, the freshness dates and the structure around them.

What this site is not

• Not a recruiter, not a staffing agency, not a consultancy. We do not represent candidates, we do not represent employers, and we are paid by neither.
• Not an employer. Nothing here is an offer of employment or a promise that one will follow.
• Not an application route. No application, CV, phone number or document is ever collected on this site. Every apply button leaves for the employer's own system.
• Never paid for by you. There is no fee, no subscription, no premium tier and no paid placement. Anyone asking you to pay in order to apply to a role you found here is not us.

The listings belong to the employers

Job titles, descriptions and application links are published by each company and remain theirs. Titles are passed through unchanged. Company names and logos are the marks of their owners and are used only to say which company is hiring. Punehire claims no ownership of that material and no affiliation with the companies listed.

If you are an employer and want a listing or a company page removed, write to hello@punehire.com. It gets removed. See contact and corrections for what to include.

Accuracy, staleness and no warranty

The feeds are re-read every six hours and the site is rebuilt from the result, so a role can close in the gap between two crawls. Each role shows when it was last confirmed still open; treat that date as the real claim being made, and treat the listing itself as a pointer to the employer's page rather than a statement of current fact.

Some fields on this site are derived rather than published. Experience ranges, role function tags, remote classification and area assignments are produced by pattern matching and by a hand-maintained company list. They are useful for filtering and they are wrong sometimes. The limits are described in how this works.

The site is provided as is, without any warranty. We do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, current, complete, still open, or genuine. Verify anything that matters on the employer's own site before you act on it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, from a listing that turned out to be stale or wrong, or from anything that happens on a site we linked to.

Applying happens elsewhere

Clicking apply takes you to a third-party applicant tracking system such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters or Recruitee, or to the company's own careers page. From that point their terms and their privacy policy govern, not ours, and we have no visibility into your application or its outcome. We receive no fee, no commission and no referral payment for any application, hire or click.

Scams and misrepresentation

Listings are taken from official employer feeds rather than from open submissions, which keeps most fraudulent postings out. It does not make the site immune. A legitimate employer never asks a candidate for a registration fee, a training deposit, or payment for equipment or a background check. If something reached this index that should not have, report it and it will be pulled.

Acceptable use

• Read it, search it, share links to it, use it in your own job hunt or hiring research. All fine.
• Need the data in bulk? Take /data/jobs.json in a single request instead of crawling the pages. That is what it is there for.
• Do not republish the index wholesale as your own, and do not use it to build a mailing list or to contact candidates or companies without their consent.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site, and do not use automated traffic in a way that degrades it for other people.

Changes to this site

Pages appear and disappear as roles open and close, by design. A closed role does not keep a page here. The site itself may change or stop, without notice and without obligation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction. If any part of this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
