How this works

How Punehire collects Pune startup jobs: public ATS feeds only, refreshed every six hours, with the coverage limits stated plainly.

Where the listings come from

Every role on this site is read from the company's own public job feed — the syndication endpoints that ashby, greenhouse, lever, smartrecruiters, workday publish so listings can be aggregated. Nothing is copied from LinkedIn, Naukri or Wellfound, and nothing is scraped from a page that asked not to be.

A scheduled job re-reads every feed every six hours, and this site is rebuilt from the result. Each role shows when it was last confirmed still open.

What the numbers mean

38 Pune startups are tracked. 9 of them publish a machine-readable feed, which is why 7 currently show live roles and the rest show only a careers link. That gap is not an oversight — most Indian startups use tools with no public feed, and inventing listings for them would be worse than admitting the gap.

What we deliberately do not do

• We never take an application, a CV, or a fee. Apply buttons go straight to the employer.
• We do not rewrite job titles. What you see is what the employer published.
• We do not keep closed roles alive. When a role leaves the feed, its page goes with it.
• We do not guess at experience levels that a posting never stated.

Known limits

• Map pins are placed at neighbourhood centroids, not street addresses, and are nudged apart so overlapping companies stay visible.
• Experience filters read the role title and description with pattern matching. Treat them as a shortcut, not a guarantee.
• A "remote" role only appears here if it names India and no other metro. That drops some genuinely open roles, which we prefer to filling a Pune map with jobs in other cities.

The full dataset is at /data/jobs.json, new roles are on RSS, and every page is listed in the sitemap. AI crawlers are welcome — see llms.txt.

Corrections

If a company is listed in the wrong area, missing entirely, or should not be here at all, that is a data problem worth fixing. The company list is curated by hand and is the one part of this site a human maintains directly.
